If you’re new to loving-kindness meditation (also known as "metta meditation"), welcome. The key to loving-kindness practice is to remember that not only are you completely deserving, worthy, and capable of receiving love and kindness, but are also capable of giving it.
As you repeat the phrases offered by the teacher, see if you can really mean each phrase. Doing so will express a clear intention, planting the seeds of goodness and loving wishes over and over in your heart, and ultimately in the heart of your baby.
